Our pastor is a Florida native and grew up in Hollywood. He and Jeanine (his wife of 24 years) have two daughters, Grace (19) and Glory (7). After graduating from Georgia Tech and working at Florida Power and Light as an engineer he went to Mid-America Baptist Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1993 he became the founding pastor of New Life. He enjoys yearly mission trips to Tanzania, Africa, talking with Jeanine, telling stories to Glory, and working on a new song with Grace. He loves South Florida, especially fishing in the Florida Keys and Florida Bay.

A Word from Pastor Coleman…
Having grown up in South Florida I love the diversity of the people and the church that God has brought together. I like people and seek to help our church be a “relational church” where people know, love, and take care of each other. We want the people of our church to enjoy relationships that go beyond Sunday morning. I love our staff. We have the best and it shows in what they do and how they live their lives. Most of all we want God to be glorified in all we do. My personal ministry goals center around teaching the Bible as carefully as I can hopefully in a way that people can understand it and apply it to their lives. It is my prayer that you will come and see what God is doing at New Life and if you haven’t already, find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ where you become confident of eternal life and find peace, joy, and purpose during your time on earth. At New Life we desire to know God as He has allowed Himself to be known in the Bible. By doing that we find what we were created for and that brings great satisfaction to our lives. It also answers some of the greatest questions of our lives including solving some of our biggest problems: relationships, personal peace, happiness, and contentment. Come and discover with us!
