Women's Ministry

The Women's Ministry of New Life Baptist Church exists to guide women to know and glorify God through Jesus Christ in Bible Study, service, and friendship.

Bible Studies

Study the Word of God with other women fostering spiritual and personal growth. Studies are offered in the Fall and Spring. (See below for our current study)

Activities

Events designed to build frienships and encourage personal growth. See below for upcoming events.

Service

Opportunities to serve and reach out to our community. We are currently involved with Hope Women's Centers and Sheridan House Family Ministries' Single Mom's Ministry.

Upcoming Events:

JANUARY

ADVENTURES IN CHINA: A Mother/Daugher Event providing an opportunity for mothers to spend time with their daughters exploring China through fun activities. A Chinese lunch will be served. $5 for ages 18 and over, $3 for each daughter, $10 per family maximum. Reservations may be pruchased in advance at the Women's Ministry Table no later than January 15. Event will be held at The Attic at Bethany Christian School 615 SE 9th Street in Ft. Lauderdale.

FEBRUARY

BIBLE STUDY - James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore. 8 weeks beginning Thursday, February 2 @ 7pm and Friday, February 3 @ 9:30am. Choose from 5 levels of study and time requirement. Topics incluse: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes, wisdom, gifts from above, single mindedness, dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Books are $15 and childcare is available by reservation for the Friday morning session only. Meeting at 2400 S Pine Island Road Davie, FL.

APRIL

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS - Small groups of women meeting at host homes for fellowship, fun, and prayer. Details will follow.
